Recommendation of Sherchan and Pariyar to the head of Gandaki and State 2

KATHMANDU: JULY 27 – The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) has decided to make a recommendation on behalf of the party to appoint an earlier chief in State 2 and Gandaki.

A meeting of the UCPN-M’s standing committee held in Parisdanda on Tuesday decided to recommend Tilak Pariyar and Amik Sherchan, who have already been the state chiefs of State 2 and Gandaki.

It has been decided to recommend Sherchan in Gandaki and Pariyar in State 2.

Not long ago, the government had decided to manipulate the heads of all the states. A meeting of the Centre’s standing committee scheduled for Wednesday will decide on the names of additional ministers to join the government.

The then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli-led government had removed the heads of these states.
