Memorandum of Understanding on Urban Infrastructure Development between NIFRA and Panchkhal Municipality

KATHMANDU: JULY 27 – Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) has agreed to support the ‘Facilitated Urban Infrastructure Development and Construction’ project in Panchkhal Municipality of Kavre. The MoU has been signed by Mayor Mahesh Kharel and CEO of Nepal Infrastructure Bank Ram Krishna Khatiwada.

According to the municipal office, the project ‘Development and Construction of Facilitated Urban Infrastructure’ is being implemented in Panchkhal Municipality under the strategic action plan of the municipality to meet the social needs of the municipality and facilitate daily life of the people through construction and operation of physical infrastructure.

According to the MoU, technical and economic feasibility study, financial and technical analysis, detailed project report, necessary assistance for a project marketing consultant and developer selection, investment structure and other necessary technical assistance and cooperation will be provided to Panchkhal Municipality through a public-private partnership. NIFRA will assist in advancing the work related to the development, construction and implementation of well-equipped urban infrastructure.
