‘Premnath’ to be released on digital platform from August 30
KATHMANDU: JULY 27 – The production team is preparing to release the movie ‘Premnath’ digitally. The movie based on a love story will be released simultaneously on about half a dozen platforms including DishHome and Net TV.
The director of the film Ganesh Belbase has said that the release is being prepared from August 30. He said, “As the movie hall is not open immediately, the movie is being screened through digital technology.” Even after 2 years of making the film, the screening is not easy, so it is being shown to the viewers through the app as an alternative. New work could not be started as the film was not screened. So the alternative is chosen. ‘
The film, which claims to be a love story of 2500 years ago, stars Surbir Pandit, Gajit Bista, Nabin Shrestha, Kamal Gaule, Ganesh Belbase, Meeyun Girel, Shekhar Jung Malla, Samjhana Bhetwal, Pooja Rijal and Sirjana Sunwar among others. Kriti Gautam and Monalisha Bista have made their acting debut in the film directed by Ganesh Belbase.
The film was shot in Kathmandu, Lumbini, Rolpa, Lucknow, Dang and other places by Guheshwari Belbase. Kapil Prasad is the executive producer of the film and Basanta Raj Bhatta and Milan Rai are also the co-producers. Bharat Chhetri is the conflicted director of ‘Premnath’. The composers of the film are Santosh Shrestha, Bhupu Pandey and SD Yogi.
