New version of TVS NTORQ 125 Race Edition made public

KATHMANDU: JULY 27 – Jagdamba Motors, the official distributor of TVS Motors for Nepal, has launched a new version of the NTORQ Scooter, a virtual launch of the NTORQ Race Tund FI. This scooter under the NTORQ series is equipped with a BS6 standard RT FI engine. Which the company claims is better than FI. The price of the new scooter has been fixed at Rs 277,900. It is Rs 12,000 more expensive than the previous Race Edition and Rs 7,000 more expensive than the Super Squad.

NTORQ discs already available in the Nepali market are priced at Rs 244,900, NTORQ drums at Rs 221,900, Race Edition at Rs 265,900 and Super Squad at Rs 270,900.

Brand Ambassador of TVS NTORQ Scooter actor Pradip Khadka and actress Swastima Khadka as well as Vice President of Jagdamba Motors Deepak Agrawal and General Manager Deepak Rauniyar jointly unveiled the scooter.

Speaking at the new scooter public event, the company’s vice president Deepak Agrawal said the NTORQ Race Edition would set a new benchmark in the premium scooter segment. General Manager Deepak Rauniyar, while discussing the contribution made by TVS in the field of racing, expressed confidence that the new scooter would win the hearts of many.

The new NTORQ is equipped with a 125 cc RTFI engine. Which means race-tuned fuel injection. Due to this technology, this scooter provides more power and performance than other scooters with an FI engine. The scooter has a maximum power of 9.25 bhp and a torque of 10.5 Nm. Its maximum speed is 95 kilometres per hour and the scooter can reach a speed of 60 kilometres per hour within 9 seconds of starting.

Under the first features in the segment, it has been provided with the latest technology Smart Connect features. The scooter includes a Bluetooth connected speedometer, a fully digital console with 60 features, a multi-mode display, phone and message and miscellaneous warning features, navigation assist, engine temperature indicator, phone signal and phone battery strength display and auto-reply SMS, features like can be connected

It also includes features like high-speed alert, engine kill switch, pass-by switch, information on how many kilometres the remaining petrol on the scooter can travel, 20-litre capacity under-seat storage, USB charger with lights and dual steering lock.

Featuring 220mm roto petal discs and parking brakes, the scooter looks sporty and aggressive. It is available in 2 colour options, red and yellow.
