Congress office bearers meeting in Budhanilkantha, these are the agenda

KATHMANDU: JULY 27 – Nepali Congress office-bearers meeting is being held. The meeting is being held at the private residence of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba (Budhanilkantha).

The meeting will focus on preparations for the party’s 14th general convention, said Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel. Although it was said that the general convention would be held in August, the active membership dispute investigation task force has not submitted its application yet. The task force is preparing to submit its report today.

Earlier, the ward convention scheduled to be held on July 27 has been postponed. It is estimated that the new date of the postponed ward convention will be made public in today’s meeting of office-bearers. The meeting was held at Budhanilkantha as leaders and cadres continued their sit-in and hunger strike at the NC Central Office in Sanepa.
