Submited a memorandum to Prime Minister Deuba seeking justice
DHANGADHI: JULY 25 – A memorandum has been sent to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba for the trial of Nirmala Panta, a 13-year-old girl from Kanchanpur who was found murdered after being raped three years ago.
The Civil Struggle Committee, including Nirmala Panta’s parents, sent a memorandum to Prime Minister Deuba through Chief District Officer of Kanchanpur Ram Prasad Pandey on Sunday.
Mina Bhandari, the coordinator of the Civil Struggle Committee, said that a memorandum has been submitted to the government through the administration demanding to make public the killer of Nirmala and give justice to the victim’s family. She also informed that a program has been decided to light a lamp at Madan Chowk in Mahendranagar Bazar this evening for the peace of Nirmala’s soul.
Even three years after the incident, the killer of Nirmala has not been identified. The real culprit has not been identified yet.
