Heavy rainfall possibilities in these regions, urging caution

KATHMANDU: JULY 25 – At present, some sites in State 1, Bagmati and Gandaki are suffering from light rain. The Weather Forecast Division reports that this change occurs because of the influence of monsoon winds throughout the country.

In many parts of the country in the afternoon there is a possibility of light to moderate rain. State 1 and 12 places of  Gandaki State are expected to have heavy rain.

The Division states that heavy rain is anticipated at 12 locations in the night in the Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Western Far States. Necessary precautions need to be taken because the soil level can increase in rainfed areas in landslides and rivers.
