He has shown respect to every human being by showing him the path of righteousness and teaching him to develop morality and virtue in the human mind.
Vyas Jayanti is also celebrated on the day of Guru Purnima in memory of Veda Vyasa. Rig Veda, Yajurveda, Sama Veda and Arthav Veda are divided into four parts and Vedas are celebrated in simple Sanskrit language to explain their meaning.
Veda Vyasa is believed to have given great value to Hindu culture by writing religious texts including Vedanta, 18 Puranas and Upanishads. It is mentioned in the scriptures that Vyas gave a humanitarian message through the Puranas and sub-Puranas that doing good to others is a religion and giving pain to others is a sin. On the occasion of Guru Purnima and Vyas Day, Prime Minister Deuba wished that all would be inspired to walk on the path of education, knowledge, consciousness and morality.
