Reports 2,714 new COVID-19 cases, total rises to 727,169
KATHMANDU: JULY 22 – An additional 2,714 people were tested positive for coronavirus in Nepal on Thursday.
During the 9,122 PCR tests conducted across the country, 1,855 and 3,707 antigen tests confirmed coronavirus in 859 people, according to the Ministry of Health.
Along with this, the number of people infected with coronavirus infections in Nepal has reached 727,169. Another 24 people have died due to coronavirus. So far, 9,661 infected people have died of coronavirus in Nepal.
Similarly, 1,288 infected people have been cured and so far 637,690 infected people have recovered in Nepal. Currently, 27,375 infected people are isolated and 291 are in quarantine.
So far, 35,04,191 PCRs and 2,78,569 antigens have been tested in Nepal, according to the ministry.
