NEPSE index above 3,000 points, turnover of 11 billion

KATHMANDU: JULY 22 – The stock market index (NEPSE) has risen by 18.75 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the year.

By the end of the day, the NEPSE index had risen 0.63 per cent to 3,000.31 points. The Sensitive Index rose 4.06 points to 562.24.

Of the 13 subgroups that traded in 100 days, only five subgroups increased while the other eight subgroups declined.

Similarly, 55.9 million 64 thousand 62 shares of 222 companies were bought and sold at a price of Rs 11.11 billion 41 million 21 thousand 616 rupees.

Similarly, shares of Laxmi Unnati Kosh, Ngadi Group Power Limited, CHDC Hydropower Development Company and Mountain Hydropower Nepal Limited have risen by 10 per cent on this day.
