KATHMANDU: JULY 21 – The second great festival of Muslims, Eid al-Adha, is being celebrated in mosques across the country today. Eid al-Fitr, or the 70th day of Ramadan, is a religious festival.

According to the Islamic calendar, this festival is celebrated in the 12th month, the 10th day of the Dhuʻl-Hijjah. On this day, Muslims baths in the morning and go to a nearby mosque to offer collective prayers. After the prayers, good wishes are exchanged by hugging each other.

The Kashmir Mosque, located in the clock tower where the prayers were held before the Corona epidemic, has been quiet for some time. Only a few followers of the religion have prayed.
