Upper Manang lost contact with the district headquarters Chame

POKHARA: JULY 21 – Chame, the district headquarters of Manang, has lost contact with the upper region. The connection of Upper Manang has been cut off after the bridge at the district headquarters Chame was washed away due to increased flow in the Marsyangdi River.

“The river has changed its course. The nearby motorable Bailey Bridge has already been flooded. He said that there would be problems including food in the upper region if there is no immediate construction of bridges or alternative arrangements. You have to cross this bridge to reach Tilicho Lake, the highest lake in the world including Manang Ngisyang Municipality.
