BERLIN: JULY 18 – At least 141 people have died and dozens remain missing due to floods in western Germany, officials confirmed Saturday. At least 98 people lost their lives in the hard-hit Ahrweiler district of the Rhineland-Palatinate state, the Koblenz Police Department said in a statement.
