Prohibitory order only in 58 districts
KATHMANDU: JULY 17 – According to the Home Ministry, the number of districts enforcing prohibitory orders has recently decreased. Only 58 districts have implemented prohibitory orders as of yet.
Even districts enforcing lockdown have gradually allowed people to engage in activities other than gathering.
However, Janakraj Dahal, a spokesperson for the Home Ministry, stated that the lockdown had not been relaxed, but that people’s activities had been eased where safety measures were required.
With the subsidence of the second wave of COVID-19 in recent weeks, people’s activities are gradually returning to normal. Last April and May, the second wave took a heavy toll.
Likewise, the vehicles with a special purpose entering the federal capital do not need pass onwards.
However, Dr. Rabindra Pande, an expert in public health, warned that people should be reluctant to act as coronavirus could at any time increase.
