Vaccination program postponed in Kathmandu district until further notice

KATHMANDU: JULY 16 – The government has postponed the vaccination program against COVID-19 in the Kathmandu district. In a statement issued on Friday, the Kathmandu Health Office said that the vaccination program has been postponed until further notice as the stock of the Vero Cell vaccine has run out.

“Until further notice, I would like to request all concerned to inform us about the postponement of the first dose of Vero Cell vaccine in Kathmandu district,” the statement said.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Health and Population and the District Vaccination and Monitoring Committee, the Vero Cell vaccination campaign, which is scheduled to take place from Wednesday to Saturday, has been postponed.
