5.0-magnitude quake hits 46 km SE of Madang, Papua New Guinea

KATHMANDU: JULY 16 – An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted 46 km SE of Madang, Papua New Guinea at 09:34:22 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 50.07 km, was initially determined to be at 5.5686 degrees south latitude and 146.0222 degrees east longitude.
