DOTI: JULY 14 – The prohibition order in the Doti district, which was imposed in May to prevent and control COVID-19, has been extended until July 30.

The District COVID Crisis Management Centre decided today to extend the prohibitory order because there is still a risk of coronavirus infection in the district.

Sunil Khanal, Chief District Officer, stated that those who disobey prohibitory orders will face consequences, including a price increase and an artificial crisis in the supply of medicines, medical supplies, essential goods, and services.

The DCCMC has allowed public vehicles to operate within the district and shops to be open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Similarly, a decision was made to allow banks and financial institutions to operate from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. using health safety protocols, while development construction activities and vehicles used for development construction could be operated using health safety guidelines.

During the prohibitory order, the operation of hotels, saloons, restaurants, gym halls, beauty parlors, and inter-district public transportation was restricted.
