Consolation on social media for racist Rashford
KATHMANDU: JULY 14 – Marcus Rashford was selected to take the penalty in the final between Italy and England, who reached the penalty shootout in extra time. However, he missed the penalty. At the same time, the anarchist supporters of Britain who used to discriminate against black people were found guilty. They treated Rashford like any other black player.
However, in recent times, there has been an increase in sympathy and encouragement for his pain. He is receiving handwritten love letters on social media. He has also been encouraged. Rashford has recently made an emotional post on social media about this.
He said that he was proud to play for the Three Lions team and that everyone on the team did well. He has apologized for missing his own penalty after the team reaching the final in 55 years. “I apologize but I want to shoutout for my teammates,” he wrote.
He wrote that he felt discouraged by his teammates and everyone else. He posted a picture of himself standing on the ground and a two-page letter on Twitter. He also proudly concludes that he is a black man from South Manchester, England.
He has also made public the paintings in his honor from love letters written by various well-wishers. It says, “Be proud to know that your struggle will play a big role in your cause.”
