One million insurance payment by NIC Asia

KATHMANDU: JULY 14 – NIC Asia Bank has paid the sum insured for the treatment of a deadly disease under the New Super Miraculous Savings Account Scheme.

Gajendra Bikram Katuwal, 44, a resident of Damak-5, Jhapa, has been paid Rs 1 million for the treatment of a deadly disease.

Katuwal was handed over a cheque for the same amount by the bank’s Deputy PAE Prakash Chandra Adhikari. The amount was paid in collaboration with Everest Insurance, the bank said.

So far, over 32 million Rupees have already been insured under the insurance and deposit scheme by over 485 customer dignitaries across the country.
