Request to use education service fee for the benefit of students

KATHMANDU: JULY 14 – Educational Consultancy Association Of Nepal (ECAN) has requested to manage the amount of education service fee paid by the students going for foreign studies in the interest of the students.

Nepali students studying abroad have been paying the Government of Nepal a two percent education service fee. The Government of Nepal has announced in the budget of the Fiscal Year 2078/79 BS that the students who have already paid the tuition fees to the foreign educational institutions but have not traveled due to various reasons will get back the amount paid by them. A statement issued by the General Secretary of ECAN, Deepak Raj Bhusal, said that they are happy that this arrangement will be implemented from July 16.
