KATHMANDU: JULY 12 – Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoists) said the Supreme Court verdict is an important historical occurrence.

Chairman Prachanda referred to it as a win for Nepal and the people of Nepal in reaction to the ruling of the Supreme Court. On behalf of the party and the coalition, he praised the Supreme Court, the Chief Justice, and other judges that the judgment of Monday upheld the dignity of the constitution and of the nation.

Chairman Prachanda argues that the courts have not been set by him, but also by KP Oli and influenced the court by Oli.

He said he considered this Supreme Court ruling as a victory of the people since the people of Nepal have been won over by the frequent parliamentary dissolution and repeated attacks on the Constitution.
