Oli called a standing committee meeting
KATHMANDU: JULY 12 – UML chairperson KP Sharma Oli, who is also the prime minister, has called a meeting of the standing committee. Oli convened the meeting at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar in the afternoon.
The Supreme Court on Sunday (today) restored the House of Representatives. The decision to dissolve the House of Representatives, which was held for the second time on the night of May 22, has also been overturned by the Supreme Court. At the same time, Prime Minister Oli’s second attempt failed.
Similarly, the Supreme Court has ordered Nepali Congress parliamentary party leader Sher Bahadur Deuba to become the Prime Minister. After that, Prime Minister Oli convened a standing committee. Earlier, Oli had been holding discussions with leaders close to him.
