Body of 25-year-old girl found in Jhapa

JHAPA: The body of 25-year-old Sirjana Basnet has been found in Birtamode Municipality-5 this morning. Her body was found in front of a rented house north of Sugam Petrol Pump on the East-West Highway.

According to Rakesh Thapa, spokesperson of the District Police Office, she has been living in a rented house of a relative in Birtamode recently.

She had been living with her family including her mother and siblings and was working in a Sirjansil Sahakari Sanstha in Birtamode.

Spokesperson Thapa said that further investigation is underway into the incident.
