Messi is the best player in the Copa America

KATHMANDU: JULY 11 – Argentina captain Lionel Messi has been named the best player in Copa America. Captain Messi, who played a key role in helping Argentina win the title, has been named the tournament’s best player.

Argentina clinched their first title since 1993 with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Brazil at the Maracana Stadium in the morning. The only goal scored by Angel Di Maria in the 22nd minute of the game was enough to give Argentina the title.

Messi scored four goals and created five chances in the tournament. He also won the highest goal scorer award of the tournament. Brazil has won the Fair Play Award after Argentina’s Emiliano Martinez was named the best goalkeeper.
