Copa America 2021: Colombia beat Peru and finish third in Championship

KATHMANDU: JULY 10 – Colombia finished third in Copa America. Colombia beat Peru 3-2 for third place on Saturday morning.

Luis Diaz scored twice and Juan Cuadrado scored once in Colombia’s win. Diaz scored the decisive goal in the 94th minute to give Colombia the victory. Diaz also scored four goals in the competition, equaling Lionel Messi’s four goals in the Golden Boot race.

Yoshimar Yotun and Gianluca Lapadula scored one goal each for Peru. Earlier in the semi-finals, Colombia lost to Argentina in a penalty shootout and Peru lost to Brazil. The final match of the Copa America is being played on Sunday morning at 5:45 Nepali time.
