Everest Bank’s flag on the summit of Mount Everest

KATHMANDU: JULY 9 – Everest Bank has managed to hoist the bank’s flag on Mt. Everest through its legendary climber Mingma David Sherpa, who has been appointed as its brandy face.

The bank has stated that it has succeeded in hoisting its flag on the summit of Everest on May 30 through Sherpa.

In the midst of a program on Thursday, Sherpa handed over the flag to the bank’s chief executive officer Dr. Sandhir Kumar during a function on Thursday. Assistant General Managers of the Bank Keshav Raj Poudel, Ashutosh Sharma and Pushparaj Upreti, Head of Market Management Department of the Bank were present on the occasion.

The event also honored Sonam Sherpa, a legendary climber who successfully climbed Mount Ketu in the summer.
