NEPSE increased by 23 points, turnover amounted to Rs 4.5 billion

KATHMANDU: JULY 8 – The stock market index (NEPSE) rose by 23.76 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

By the end of the day, the NEPSE index had risen 0.85 percent to 2,824.90 points. The Sensitive Index rose 4.41 points to 529.66.

Of the 13 subgroups traded on the day, 11 subgroups rose while the other two declined.

A total of 1,31,43,240 shares of 222 companies were bought and sold on the day, resulting in a turnover of Rs 4,815,520,294.

Similarly, the share price of Guheswori Merchant Banking and Finance has risen by 9.5 percent on this day. The share price of Rastriya Beema Company Limited has risen by 6 percent.
