‘We will reach the solution by evening’
KATHMANDU: JULY 8 – The meeting between the UML task force has ended. Gokarna Bista, a member of the negotiating team formed by the other side, said that the meeting held at Singha Durbar from 11 am has almost reached a consensus. After the meeting, leader Bista said, “The task force has concluded its fourth meeting.” More progress has been made today than yesterday. There are some things left to be discussed in the evening.
Leader Bista has said that it will not take much time to reach a conclusion. “We are trying to find a solution this evening. It is not going to take long. We are almost at the point of the solution, ”said Bista, adding that the morning meeting also moved in a positive direction. “Maybe we’ll get to the point of a solution.”
Earlier, party president KP Sharma Oli, who is also the prime minister, and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal had a discussion. Though there was talk of ‘power sharing’ during the discussion, no agreement was reached. In today’s working group meeting, the two leaders again discussed issues including meeting.
Bishnu Prasad Poudel, Shankar Pokhrel, Vishnu Rimal Rapradeep Gyawali are under the convener ship of Subashchandra Nemwang from the establishment party to solve the internal problems of the UML while Ghanshyam Bhusal, Surendra Pandey, and Raghuji Panta are with Bista under the convener ship of Bhim Rawal from the other party.
