As of the 7th of July, 21 journalists have recorded COVID-19 infection and one has succumbed to the deadly virus. However, none of the infected journalists had to be kept in ICU and ventilator, informed Dhakal.

Like in the previous vaccination, Itahari Hospital has been designated as the vaccination center for the second jabs, informed FNJ Sunsari.

”I am happy to hear the news of scheduled second dose of COVID-19 vaccines,” remarked Krishna Bahab Bhattarai, a young journalist from Barahakshetra of the district. ”It has boosted my confidence to work and report in the frontline. My family members would also be less skeptical for my outdoor trips after my complete vaccination.”
