Wagle appointed UNDP Asia Pacific chief as economic adviser

KATHMANDU: JULY 6 – Economist Swarnim Wagle has been appointed economic adviser to the head of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Asia-Pacific.

Wagle has been assigned to work at the US headquarters in New York. He is also the former vice-chairman of the National Planning Commission.
