Achham declared fully literate district

ACHHAM: JULY 6 – With more than 95 percent of the literacy rate, Achham district was declared the fully literate district on Monday.

Social Development Minister of Sudurpaschim Province Government Man Bahadur Khadka made this announcement at a formal programme organised by the District Coordination Committee, Achham.

The District Coordination Committee, Achham, has said that the district was declared a fully literate one as most of the people there now can read and write.

On the occasion, Minister Khadka expressed happiness over the local people’s capacity to read and write.
