One died in a tiger attack

BARDIA: JULY 6 – An old man has died in a tiger attack in Bhagraiya of Madhuwan Municipality-3 of Bardiya district. According to the District Police Office, the body of Chitra Bahadur Khatri, 67, of Bhagraiya was found in Samjhana Community Forest.

Khatri, who had gone into the community forest to cut grass and firewood, was attacked by a tiger. Khatri’s body was found at 11 pm on Saturday, said Asmin Thapa Magar, Armed Police Inspector of Bhagraiya. In the current fiscal year, 12 people have been killed in a tiger attack in Bardiya.
