KATHMANDU: JULY 5 – Multinational beverage brand Coca-Cola has appointed Devyani Rajyalakshmi Rana as Vice President for Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability for India and South-West Asia.

Rana is the daughter of Pashupati Shamsher Jang Bahadur Rana, leader of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP).

Rana has more than 25 years of experience in government, politics, corporate affairs, strategic business advocacy, risk management, communications, corporate accountability (CSR), and sustainability.

Commenting on Devyani’s appointment as Vice President, Sanket Ray, President of India and South-West Asia, said, “I am very excited to welcome Devyani to this exciting charter. Because she has joined the leadership team for this area. She will bring experience in policy, law, trade agreements, politics, and other areas.

Ray expects Devyani’s experience, knowledge and skills to further help Coca-Cola’s brand promotion.
