KATHMANDU: JULY 4 – Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in another 1,603 people across Nepal. At the same time, the number of people infected with the coronavirus in Nepal has reached 682,739.

An additional 4,876 people underwent PCR testing and 3,256 corona were tested using the antigen method. According to Dr. Krishna Poudel, spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,042 people have been infected with PCR and 561 with antigen.

So far, six lakh nine thousand 218 people have returned home by recovered from coronavirus. In the last 24 hours, 2,552 infected people have recovered and returned home.

461 infected in Kathmandu Valley

Recently, 461 infected people have been added to Kathmandu Valley. According to the ministry, 342 people have been confirmed infected in Kathmandu, 88 in Lalitpur, and 31 in Bhaktapur.

Another 27 infected died

Recently, 27 more people have died of coronavirus infection in Nepal. The death toll from the coronavirus has risen to 9,225, the ministry said.
