Mega Bank has introduced ‘Mega Medi Card’ facility to pay hospital bills
KATHMANDU: JULY 4 – Mega Bank Nepal Limited has introduced an attractive facility called ‘Mega Medi Card’ to pay hospital bills.
The bank has mentioned that this facility has been brought keeping in mind the situation where it may be difficult for the customers to raise money immediately when they are sick. Customers using the bank’s credit card facility can avail a minimum of Rs 20,000 to Rs 150,000 through this facility, the bank said.
The bank has made arrangements to provide this facility to the customers within two days of submitting the required documents. According to Bishwa Singh, head of the bank’s digital and e-banking department, the facility has been provided free of cost and a 50 percent discount has been provided on credit card fees.
Mega Bank has stated that this facility will be very convenient and effective as the money will be provided to the family of the patient on the basis of proof of relationship for the payment of the hospital bill.
