Plants on narrow roads, problems for walkers [Photos]

KATHMANDU: JULY 4 – The Kathmandu Metropolitan City is planting saplings on both sides of the road from Sohrakhutte Naya Bazar to Balaju Bishnumati.

Plants planted on the sidewalk where two people can barely walk and about half of the sidewalk is covered by iron fences surrounded by plants. Bay leaf, Camphor, Cherry, Flowers, and other plants are being planted. According to the locals, there will be problems in walking after the plant grows big.

Saplings have been planted on the sidewalk on the east side of the road and planting is in full swing on the west side.
