Two killed, 10 injured in jeep accident
DHANGADHI: JULY 4 – Two persons have died when a jeep heading to Dadeldhura from Baitadi met with an accident. According to the District Police Office, Baitadi, the jeep (Se 1 Ja 739) heading towards Dadeldhura from Sigas Rural Municipality-3 of the district met with an accident near Lagan Bazar.
Baitadi Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ramesh Bahadur Pal said that two persons died on the spot. According to him, 45-year-old Man Singh Saund and 64-year-old Ram Singh Dhami died on the spot.
Ten others have been injured in the accident. DSP Pal informed that the injured were taken to Dadeldhura Hospital as they were close to Dadeldhura from the accident site. According to him, a team of police from Thata police post and Khodpe police post reached the spot and rescued the injured.
