Colombia in the semifinals, Uruguay out

KATHMANDU: JULY 4  – Colombia has reached the semifinals of Copa America. Colombia beat Uruguay in a penalty shootout to reach the semifinals of Copa America on Sunday morning.

Colombia and Uruguay were held to a goalless draw after a 90-minute draw. Two Uruguayan players missed a penalty in a penalty shootout.

Colombia won the game 4-2 after Uruguay’s José Giménez and Matías Viña missed penalties. Colombia will now play the winner of the semi-final between Argentina and Ecuador.
