Ramnagar Village Municipality Chairman Burma passes away

JANAKPUR: JULY 4 – Chairman of Ramnagar Village Municipality of Sarlahi Krishna Prasad Burma has passed away. Nitu Devi Yadav, the vice-chairperson of the village municipality, said that Burma died on Saturday night while undergoing treatment at a hospital due to health problems.

The 70-year-old president, who has been suffering from tuberculosis for a long time, was admitted to the Medicity Hospital in Kathmandu on June 28 after he was found to have serious health problems. But he died at 12 o’clock on Saturday night while undergoing treatment.

According to Vice President Yadav, preparations are being made to bring the body of Chairman Burma home and the funeral will be held according to Hindu tradition. In the local level election of 2074 BS, Burma was elected as the village chairman of Ramnagar from the Nepali Congress. Chairman Burma’s permanent home is in Ramnagar Village Municipality Ward No. 1.
