Possibility of heavy rains in these areas, appeal to adopt vigilance

KATHMANDU: JULY 4 – According to the Water and Weather Forecast Division, monsoon winds are currently affecting the country. Due to the low-pressure line of the monsoon near the Terai region, it is raining continuously.

Currently, it is raining in some places in State 1, State 2, Bagmati State, and Gandaki State with normal to full cloud cover, while in the rest of the state, it is raining lightly in one or two places with partial to normal cloud cover.

This afternoon, there will be normal to complete cloud cover across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in most parts of State 1, State 2, Bagmati State, Lumbini State, and Gandaki Province as well as a few places in Karnali and Far Western Province. Similarly, heavy rain with thunderstorms is expected in a few places in Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati, and Gandaki.
