Rescue of two buried in landslide in Tanahun

TANAHUN: JULY 2 – Two people have been rescued alive on Friday morning after a landslide caused by incessant rains since last Tuesday evening. Saroj Rimal, 24, of Lamjung Besishahar Municipality-10, and Sunil Rawat, 35, of the same place were injured in the incident.

According to Tanahun District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police Yuvaraj Timalsina, Saroj Rimal was seriously injured when a landslide fell on his house at around 5 in the morning. Both the injured have been sent to Lamjung Hospital for treatment.
