Deuba called a meeting of office bearers

KATHMANDU: JULY 1 – A meeting of office bearers and former office-bearers of the main opposition party Nepali Congress is being held. A meeting will be held at the party office Sanepa at 2 pm to discuss the issue of active membership.

The meeting will discuss preparations for the party’s upcoming general convention and active member disputes. The schedule for the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress to be held in Kathmandu from September 1 to 4 has been made public.

However, it is still engaged in active membership. There has been intense controversy over active membership. Although an investigation committee headed by Ramesh Lekhak was formed to decide on the active membership, it has not been able to investigate the complaint due to a lack of criteria.
