However, club president Joan Laporta said the problem with Messi was due to UEFA’s Financial Fair Play Regulation (FFP). However, he said Messi wanted to stay at Barcelona and that the club would resolve his financial problems as soon as possible.
Messi has not yet released any information. But with the appointment of Laporta as the new president of the club, he is said to be staying in Barcelona. Messi wanted to leave Barcelona last year.
