One dies in motorcycle accident
Two others have been injured
BHAKTAPUR: JUNE 17 – A motorcyclist has died and two others have been injured in a motorcycle accident at Madhyapurthimi Municipality-4.
Ramesh Kumar Basnet, 27, of Chaulakharka in Solukhumbu died this morning when his motorcycle (Ba 77 Pa 5605) heading to Bhaktapur from Kathmandu met with an uncontrollable accident at around 11:00 last night, said Bhaktapur Metropolitan Police Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepak Giri.
According to Giri, Basnet succumbed to his injuries at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj at around 2.30 am this morning. Lokendra Magrati, 22, of Kadaghari in Udayapur Tapli Rural Municipality-5 and Amit Jairu, 25, of Kadaghari in Sindhuli Tinpatan Rural Municipality-5 were injured in the accident and are undergoing treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.
