The prohibitory order was again extended for another week
CHITWAN: JUNE 17 – The prohibitory order imposed by the local administration has been extended for one week as the number of Corona Virus infection has increased in the district. A meeting of the Center (DCMC) on District Covid Management on Wednesday extended the ban for another year.
The District Administration Office has issued an order and the prohibitory order has been extended till 12 midnight on July 25.
Adding the prohibitory order has given continuity to the earlier order. The order states that department stores will be allowed to open. Chief District Officer Premlal Lamichhane informed that it has been decided to open department stores selling food and distribution.
Even though the previous prohibitory order has been maintained, some loosening has been made in the case of department stores. It is mentioned in the order that the bookstore should be opened following the health standards. It is said that no more than 25 people will attend the funeral and a shop selling chemical fertilizers and agricultural seeds will be available. It has been stated that more than three people should be employed in the vehicle maintenance center.
Corona infection has been confirmed in 15,131 people in the district so far. Of them, 1,429 are actively infected. Of the active infected, 129 are being treated at the hospital while others are in public isolation and home isolation. Corona has killed 252 people in the district.
