Five gamblers arrested with cash

KATHMANDU: JUNE 15 – Police have arrested five gamblers from Street No. 4 of Mahendranagar Bazaar in Bhimdatta Municipality-4 last night. According to Thapa Chhetri, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Kanchanpur, the arrested are Ram Krishna Gupta, 62, Sachin Gupta, 33, Binod Gupta, 45, Sunil Gupta, 42, and Murari Gupta, 55.

A total of Rs 46,207 in cash has been recovered from those arrested. On the basis of special information, the police had searched the house of Binod Gupta after receiving information of gambling. -RSS
