My second teacher’s 1 lakh award for designing the jersey of the Nepali national cricket team
KATHMANDU: JUNE 14 – My Second Teacher (MST), the main sponsor of the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN and the Nepali national cricket team, has opened a competition to design jerseys for the national cricket team.
CAN and MST said in a joint statement today that the competition for the design of the jersey is open.
The designer has to keep in mind both the front and back of the national team jersey. “Anyone designing a jersey should use the red and blue colors used in Nepal’s national flag,” the statement said.
The designer said that the design of the jersey should be in accordance with the rules of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
As the Nepali team’s jersey is good and excellent, we have collaborated with CAN to select the design through open competition, so we hope that many people will participate in it and the Nepali team will get the design of the jersey that will catch everyone’s eye, MST said.
The Nepali team will use the best design in the upcoming competitions in the coming days and the best designer will be given a cash prize of one lakh by My Second Teacher.
CAN has got My Second Teacher as the main sponsor of the national team through the advertising agency Ad Pad. According to Suraj Giri, managing director of Ad Pad, the one who makes the best design will get one lakh in cash as a prize.
Nepal will face Scotland and Namibia in their second series of the World Cup in Spain in July.
The deadline to submit design is the 17th of this month.
The design has to be done in CAN’s email and all the information about it has also been posted on CAN’s website, Giri said.
Meanwhile, My Second Teacher awarded Rs 500,000 each to the Nepali team that won the triangular series between Nepal, the Netherlands and Malaysia earlier this month and Rs 100,000 each to four players who made their debut in the series, Kushal Bhurtel, Asif Sheikh, Shahab Alam and Kamal Singh Airy. Organizing an event in a few days and will be handed over in a few days.
