Ambulance service operation
KATHMANDU: JUNE 14 – For the first time, an ambulance service has been operated by Panchang of Naukunda Village Municipality with the objective of facilitating the treatment service of the rural people. The villagers have purchased an ambulance to solve the problem of bringing the residents of Yarsa area to Hospital by carrying.
The new ambulance is expected to provide service to more than 10,000 people living in dozens of villages including Yarsa, Yuvra, Ghangwar, Singwandi, Langwu, Aarukharka, Sarsiu, Patikharka, Saramathali, Parchang, Phamchet, Bhorle and Chitti. The village municipality has purchased an ambulance for Rs. 1 million 85 thousand and the customs duty has been waived.
According to Naukunda Village Chairman Nurpusangwo Ghale, an ambulance service has been launched in Rasuwa two days ago along with opening of road tracks to solve the treatment problems of the residents of all six wards of his village. -RSS
