Nepalis living in the United States sent health supplies to health posts
Mayor Basudev Thapa handed over the health items to the health post today.
KATHMANDU: JUNE 14 – Nepalis born in Katunje and currently living in the United States and doing various professions and studies have donated various health items to the Katunje Health Post in Suryabinayak Municipality-5.
On the initiative of Ram Bahadur Thapa and Ranjan Raj Dhungel of Katunje, Nepalis living in the United States have sent two units of health beds, one unit of oxygen concentrator and two units of oxygen cylinders for the health post.
Mayor Basudev Thapa handed over the health items to the health post today. He said that the municipality will bring policies, programs and budget next year by giving priority to education and health sector. He informed that final preparations have been made for the operation of a municipal hospital in Jagati and a tender has been issued for the purchase of necessary health equipment for the hospital.
Speaking on the occasion, Raj Kumar Joshi, Ward Chairman of Ward No. 5 and Chairman of Katunje Health Post, said that he was relieved when some Nepalis living in the US came to the health post with the help of some materials. -RSS
