England’s historic victory over Croatia

KATHMANDU: JUNE 13 – England have made a winning start to the 16th edition of the European Championship.

England got off to a happy start with a 1-0 win over Croatia on Sunday. This is a historic victory for England. Because England had not yet won the first game of the Euro Cup.

At the same time, England have continued the history of not loosing the opening game of a major tournament at home ground.

Raheem Sterling’s goal in the 57th minute was decisive in England’s victory at Wembley Stadium in London. Neither both team was able to take advantage of the opportunity which they have got.
